Ryan Field Tickets

The Ryan Field is home to the Northwestern University Wildcats football team. The only section in the Ryan Field that can out do the Northwestern University Wildcats Marching Band is clearly the Ryan Field student section. The Northwestern University student section is situated near the goal line, where they are led by the Wildcats cheerleaders with cheers such as "Go U, NU," and "Let's go Cats!"

The Ryan Field student section is also riled up by Willie the Wildcat mascot who continues to pump up the crowd throughout the entire Wildcats football game. The "Spirit Team" also plays a roll with riling up the crowd by performing push ups after every Wildcat touchdown. Since the 1960's, a tradition known as the "Growl" is frequently used where the fans make a claw with their hands like a wildcat and scream at the top of their lungs in order to intimidate the competition.
