Andrew Brewer was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and played football for Jenks High School. During his career at Jenks, Andrew Brewer threw for 3,705 yards, 45 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. Andrew Brewer also rushed for 1,081 yards and 12 touchdowns. Andrew Brewer received many honors including being ranked 11th in the state by, District Co-Player of the Year, played in Oklahoma High School All-Star game, won MVP for the Oil Bowl and was all-state quarterback by the Daily Oklahoman, Tulsa World and the Oklahoma Coaches Association.

In 2005, Andrew Brewer joined the Northwestern Wildcats football team. The 6’3” 215 lbs wide receiver/quarterback did not play in any games during his first Northwestern Wildcats football season. Andrew Brewer made his first Northwestern Wildcats quarterback start against Penn State. During that game Andrew Brewer ran for a Northwestern Wildcats best 41 yards and was named Northwestern Wildcats Chevrolet Player of the Game. In 2007, Andrew Brewer did not play in any Northwestern Wildcats football games because he broke his arm during preseason. In 2008, Andrew Brewer finished fifth on the Northwestern Wildcats football team in receiving yards with 145 on 18 catches. Andrew Brewer was named Phil Steele’s preseason All-Big Ten squad and will be a starting receiver for the Northwestern Wildcats 2009 football season.
