Jordan Mabin was raised in Northfield Center, Ohio and played football for Nordonia High School. While playing for Nordonia Jordan Mabin had 6,700 career yards, 81 career rushing touchdowns, 61 career receptions, 92 career touchdowns and 8,866 career all-purpose yards. Jordan Mabin received many honors including being ranked 20th best cornerback nationally by SuperPrep, Ohio’s Division II Offensive Player of the Year, All-Ohio selction, 2006 Offensive Player of the Year by Northeast Ohio Inland District, four-time first-team All-Western Reserve Conference selection, conference’s Offensive MVP, three-time team MVP and was named Fox 8 and Cable 9 Player of the year.

In 2007, Jordan Mabin joined the Northwestern Wildcats football team. The 5’11” 180 lbs corner back did not play in any games during his first Northwestern Wildcats football season. In 2008, Jordan Mabin started 11 Northwestern Wildcats football games. Jordan Mabin was named Sporting News, Football Writers Association of America and Phil Steele’s Freshman All-American. Jordan Mabin was also named Northwestern Wildcats NGN Defensive Newcomer of the year and first-team All-Big Ten Freshman team. Jordan Mabin had a total of 52 tackles and three interceptions for the Northwestern Wildcats. Jordan Mabin will be a returning cornerback starter for the Northwestern Wildcats 2009 football season.
