Scott Concannon was raised in Columbia, Missouri and played football for Rock Bridge High School. While in high school Scott Concannon led the area in rushing with 1,690 yards and averaged 10.3 yards per carry. Scott Concannon also scored 20 rushing touchdowns and 25 touchdowns overall. Scott Concannon received many honors including All-Region, ranked 129th-best running back nationally by ESPN, All-State selection, Two-time Columbia Tribune All-Area selection, Tribune’s Offensive MVP and was team captain. Scott Concannon also has Rock Bridges records for career rushing, career points, single-season rushing and single-season points.

In 2007, Scott Concannon joined the Northwestern Wildcats football team. Scott Concannon was named Northwestern Wildcats offensive practice player of the week vs. Ohio State and Northwestern Wildcats special teams practice player of the week vs. Michigan. In 2008, the 5’10” 190 lbs running back had his first tackle while playing on Northwestern Wildcats special teams. Scott Concannon also assisted on one tackle against Ohio while playing at Northwestern Wildcats Ryan Field. Scott Concannon had a few injuries in 2008 but is hoping to be back to full strength for the Northwestern Wildcats 2009 football season.
